All phone guests join us on the show opens Obama's line Michael junior. Are doing go Jason Spezza with you this morning I would voice not as good as you are right. Yes were essentially bolts here as my dad is off at Monday after the masters to make sure that trade this morning should you pass out due to excitement. Should be thrill of victory from this weekend. Beat too much for your moral body to withstand were going to carry you off to Valhalla and try to finish to show for eBay's gross a big one for him and you have one job than. As notre once said so look it's not about me in anyway shape or form it's about what we saw. And what happened Sunday. August. But here it is which has student. To win the masters. Quiet down Tek back behind the ball woods putts it. And that's the call from Mike to Rico. As he made the call is Tiger Woods officially has climbed to. All the way back. To being a major champion for the fifteenth time Westwood One with a call there Mike to Rico working. With them as well as the Golf Channel of the week and it was simply. An amazing. Afternoon slash early morning right I mean. I will tell you significantly my draft prepped took a major hit. Yesterday because I didn't do much about it then puts soaking in every second of what we Saudi I really want during the third round of the draft you'd be like sorry guys this must have been a tiger moment about but yeah it started this guy came up during the masters stat but a does that bulwark against Nevada and trade I think you know. You think back to the that in the moments for golfing and yesterday was one of those moments again where if you were out you saw everybody surrounding TVs and that was really beats the part of it as much as everybody it'll last about how much we talk about tiger there was a reality yesterday. I'm sitting in west harper was hitting out of a restaurant have as much. And all of a sudden you look over and everybody is standing by TV doesn't matter men women young old everybody stay by TV. Cheering that the tiger effect it has been a long time since we've seen it it came back yesterday and that sort of brought everybody together for that one. There we saw the week. Seeing all the pictures that everyone posts that were seen as all the experiences together something we never thought. We might have a chance to experience Daniel we dot aide tore win last year and that right out like such a huge step. Where he was put to climb all the way back to the mountaintop the place we've always wanted I mean even last year when he's coming back off the injury for the first time. We're getting ready we're going. Well he's looking better and we expect he's looking healthier maybe gusto. Why not a gust and you'll we realized it might be too much too simple song gets so close and so many the majors last year. But it became real and getting there you the whole time you're waiting for the other shoe to drop but it never came out as. As he was going through the back nine you know at one point he got within one on the front and many made two bogeys general suddenly Molinari who has been the best player in the world by the way. For about a year now. When he got to three stroke lead I was like well. You know it was a good run what it was great but did Al maybe he will look for and then you get to the twelfth hole off. And the twelfth hole has been the demise of many of the eight potential masters champion Jordan speaks there would look like he was gonna win back to back. Masters in 2015 and 4016. Rinse it twice. Four of the final six players that went through twelve put it in the water. And tiger lands it squarely on the green makes the two blood Moeller makes a five and it is game on from that point. It is game on and then of course in front of Patrick can't lay in Zander shop we start doing things are like wait a minute. Patrick Haley Sanders awfully well this is or headed right now provider remember the titans when the nurse walks into Gary Roberts years drew just do not come in here and don't this year. It tiger turned us against so many people sure are good and find people they are pros and all that. Anytime someone black eagle what we were all looking for is once we got close there was no denying. What everyone wanted I think that so unique in sports now. To find something or someone that everyone is universally rooting for. Well and into that and it's rare to root against anyone in golf I mean I don't I'm not saying that anybody was going into the day rooting against people but as this became a reality. Everybody was everybody says they're saved find a way to mess up so I mean nobody trooper Burke kept that I don't know an understatement is normally I don't root against people but yeah. I mean that that's that's fair that's when we're older we were hoping that somebody else will falter we get to see this tiger magic moment and we did an out you know guys I have to said they wanna. The tiger effect has been such conversation. For everybody else but I think one of the most special things about yesterday's tiger had a breakthrough the tiger effect you know he had to have the wherewithal to focus through all of these moments and understanding. How big it was more that's why I think the monkey off the back felt like we all felt that relief there because tiger was able to it to persevere through the tiger moment and be the tiger people remembered. Well. We got we got a couple of taste of that last year right when he actually took the lead Sunday at Carnoustie at the open championship otherwise known in America as the British Open. It's called the open championship. And then he fell back. Paired with Francesco Molinari but it went on to win the event and then at the PGA championship we all got a taste it one more time when he shot a sixty forum Sunday. Was is 6318 members and 6460 Q lowest round he's ever shot. At a major on a Sunday. Still wasn't enough because Brooks kept goes like cold might be right so he's like not gonna happen so there was. In watching this unfold the fact that. The two guys that he took down on Sunday were Brooks kept death. And Francesco Molinari was pretty sweet but as it was going through the back nine and we got through fourteen and he and he animal are were tied we get to the fifteenth hole which is always a pivotal hole. Tiger. Cures his drive and then puts it exactly where you wanna do it to give yourself let a chance that I'm a really good run an eagle and then blow potential be it happened birdie. And more are drives it out to the right. Green and I'm like. He has believed alone I won the masters. Three also play I started going through my head. Is this really happening all we really going to see this. As we've been. We've been so close over the last you know you're so I heard a lot yes exactly we been down this primrose. Let me one more time you know now we were we are waiting for the pay off and we finally got it and it was it was good in a lot of regards 11 and foremost to see that moment for tiger understanding the back story through all of this is certainly. Compelling feeder there. But it was fun watching just how much still matter to what frank new generation. Of people surrounding golf. Who got to look at this through the set advised that we also ought to read tiger's prime it was like this is or. There are rarely do you do it actually had history walk around that's kind of what tiger is tiger's. Walking golf history he's not just a person like. When you pick and that's it I don't mean that you're dehumanizing way of knowing you become his biggest tiger was two golf. You become a time period like for tiger yesterday. People were so enthralled with this because it reminded me of when they went through this all the first time and very rarely. Do we need to do that would athletes because a lot of sports you're not allowed to re live. That greatness because of age because of the turn over all these things that generally tend to take our stars from us another sport. Isn't that one of the things do that we saw social media is everybody was talking about what the end it was like people were getting their kids it's taken me this is what I've been telling you about for decades it's what I've been telling you about. Since you were knee high right like that's that's sort of what. This moment also was it was fathers and sons mothers and daughters coming together. And watching it saying I I told you about this I want to see this in person and I think that's part of what made the last couple holes so match per ton. There was that the quite literally talking about what it meant for him to have that moment had his kids be there was mom be there waiting for Moffitt off the eighteenth greens up. My son was two years Ole when tiger won his first masters in 1997 he was sitting on my lap. When tiger won that masters are saying look look at this look at this guy. When that tournament was over that was the first call I made gas my son to say he he did it again you know. It was incredible. It's incredible urge you as it was that kind of moments were everywhere it's a generational it's aware worry you win the kind of moment and I think that's the unique thing about tiger den because. He transcends just wouldn't one person normally does. Any becomes that moment he becomes a time marker like you time stamp and a lot of people have. There lives and the moments from it whisked tiger's accomplishments with the era of dominance that he had we got a taste that again yesterday. And then he goes to the sixteenth hole. After taking a one stroke lead on fifteen. And just hits it in the absolute perfect spot on the hill and that killed by the way on the sixteenth hole. Are the traditional Sonny plays with a pin is down low and will bowl and the green is a pie. You have to hit that ridge at the exact spot because a couple of guys including Brooks kappa. Hit it a little too I like by a yard and it stays up on that hill and then it's one of the most impossible to putts. You can ever find to try and find your way to save par. I think almost went in if that goal in on sixteen. I don't think they could have finished the tournament. I think killer about to say. Or call that man everybody get out of here because. I don't think you could have even continued if he had made the ace on sixteen were blown away from the place sort of erupted it was absolutely insane. And so Benny did Adam like. He's got a he's come to stroke lead with with two holes to play it was absolutely unbelievable. And then to see him walk up eighteen. After after finding the fairway and you could tell as he was walking up and and sort of it is is approach was all sort out to the right. He purposely wasn't looking after green I don't know if you watch the camera on him as you walk it was like. I have a I have a job to finish year I have something that I've got to get across the finish line. And you could tell you we exist he was keeping his hat down. You know he was trying to control the emotions at that point 'cause he's like don't let this get the best of me now and take this away for. No it's really funny about that so I was watching is just as active brighter probably one album was our own Michael Smith furious Tian. And he said I looked up that moment where were like oh my god what has to be going through your Mike is world sitting there waxing poetic about all these things. You have to wonder what's going through that guy's mind at that point. And Michael Smith tomatoes. Not be going through any of ours yes meeting in that moment he said exactly would you did he goes he's looking all right I gotta get this ball up on the green and I get this out to win. Because that's what. Takes at that moment but we can't take after rent I mean I know that that's the thing I controlling adrenaline and the biggest moment of something we just take for granted from the greatest athletes have ever seen and I don't think we should aids it's a telling sign of where somebody is in the mental part of of whatever their sport is that they can take that huge moment where everybody knows it's going on. You know the got to toss of what's your biggest and you can compartmentalize where you didn't emotional plateau elected coming up there that was the release where he started to realize it had to sort of self check. But that's a difficult thing to do to rein it back knowing exactly which you've got. Yes it is it it was that was one of the keys to meet dues we talk about so much of what we saw from tiger that I thought was. Incredible his sort of mental ability to focus through as mental ability is I mean again when everybody in every bar America's standing up cheering for this everybody knows what's on the line. He feels that times a million ability to just like shut that off I I can't I can conceptual. This seems fair I mean just seeing the reaction. And it maybe it was in contrast we're talking before the show about Patrick read the reception he got last year. After the win vs. Are you what we saw yesterday and we talked about generations the guys the young golfers on tour. Waiting and watching now after this one the young guys on tour going up in congratulating tiger's mom like how much he means and meant to them. That was clearly showing yesterday what everyone kind of stood up and took this moment that we were sure we were ever gonna get yet right look. And then after the putt goes in and he finally lets that emotion go and it was just incredible. You know. Soccer match broke out I mean a WW he event took place on the eighteenth green. They were literally screaming at the top of their orange tiger tiger here's a little bit of that sound and. Cool yeah. Do. You. It's just an amazing thing and EU need to understand. Where he was. To get to where we are now. Since his last great year on tour Tony thirteen Tiger Woods has had. Not one not two not three but four back surgeries I know your dad is that a back surgery. Brothers had a bad idea after I've had pointed backs up my sister and had a bad surge like. It's when you hear your eyes and you don't often just try to back publicity every delighted to officers are surgeries and house. Or access sari says so I don't know but such so when you brilliant you hear tiger talk about it and a lot of the things that tiger was saying about. I just wanna be able to walk normal again I wanna be able to sleep what. Those were conversations I was having with my brother when he contemplated. The ended his football career is I can't sleep at night because I'm giving these burning pains for my lower back down in my legs like it is debilitating. It's concerning and it does it shift your focus just back to. Forget golfer in the rest that would I just wanna be able to live normally and federal from Baird and now like you cannot overstate how incredible and the last surgery. Fused his. Fine together and it was really seen as a last gasp of him having. On normal life now mean that was think two years ago he was telling people. I'm done I I can't put up with the pain anymore. I just wanna be able to pick up my kids I just want to be able to walk then more round in and kick a soccer ball around them a little bit he was at that place were he understood. I can't do this anymore. So did go from back. Oh what we saw Sunday. You could write a movies it if you went in to get this great idea for moved OK we're gonna take the greatest golfer arguably of all time. At this peak has this incredible crash because of hubris an injury and all this kind of stuff and then follows into the depths. And then. He's gonna come all the way back and reclaimed the top spot in his profession by reclaiming arguably the most prestigious golf event in the world and he's gonna do it. In a way that he's never done before coming back from behind on Sunday which have been the one. One bugaboo the one knock you could make on his career always great he's a front runner he's a front or he can't come from behind. I have that unfold after an eleven year drought with a back surgeries Hollywood's. That we bleep out of here yet. That's what we saw on Sunday it was absolutely incredible. And someone who sought right up there up close we're delighted to be joined now on the shell Pennzoil performance I is Michael Collins. Our ESPN Gatti in co host of the Matty Gatti podcast. Michael we're trying to put in some sort of perspective what it is because you look at what we saw from tiger and great golfing perspective it's this. From a personal perspective it's this you put it altogether. You couldn't sell this to somebody and expect them to understand. You know what I kept thinking and on the back nine especially after number twelve. When Molinari Italy in the water and intrigues it is water and later on green. Accepting all like appearing in my head blows. And George Foreman won the heavyweight title act. And remember now Gigi she is happening and it happened. And that all hearing. Because that kind of order or finding out I didn't close. The dominant force it Nolan can ever. Who. YE Yang and a slain net drag and put everything else that happened personal life and injuries and surgery and you're like. Okay well he doesn't have the lead so. You know there's that and yet those those other two monsters that are out there got the job and kept. Let our our our air in position and it everybody was making a move and it was like every. Also never. Experience. What I experience is that it yet turner as well because. I mean as a member and media you're job is to kind of from neutral and not necessarily. Bomb. Group at all. But a monetary man in that manner. Every time tiger English at it was like oh cool. And it and it almost like who you remember. You're in position at the open championship last year at the lead. Firms sort it would hire a little Molinari right sold very important and it would be like oh yeah apparel. What do you very equal or a double play an extra changed and no I didn't. On a lot of my old on Twitter at shortstop out like no disciple. Like he could. There's nothing you can go back this guy you like permanent. It looks he's there you're right Michael he's been the best player in the world the last year and and that's a whole different side of this thing that that he was the one altar which is amazing but at what point did you start to believe. And convince yourself that it was actually going to happen that this was the time was a when he took the lead on fifteen was when he what was it when he household on sixteen yeah. Yet we have seen sixteen when that shot on a roll back toward the hole. It was like look here's who picked on the ninth hole when he hit it all. From. The middle of the fairway. I bet our shelter and had to go to eat here. When he hit their art and it was toward the hole I would like this could be another one of those moments like. At the par three and then it apart during this started happening again this shot and the start strictly toward the hole and it's like whoa wait a bit. Beat this might be going down to and then when he made the I don't see him. It was like okay cool. Now it's all about bad experience and got a boats. And of course I went DJ hit his shot at eighteen. There wasn't a arsenic in the years senator who the coach do you what they are. There also wasn't a person. Wasn't a person what Brooks kept hitting your shot look like well it Brooke camp. Like we noted dude an big moment gonna make big. And don't you know there weren't you won't open where there and it would lie. It is gonna happen right and that's what people were crying and it will use it was a moment that I'll ever forget. Are gonna Michael Collins hosts beat Matty in the caddie podcast here in the shell Pennzoil before outside Michael what do you think this meant for a new generation of golf fans to see what we were all talking about. Com. I didn't know it was tiger port. I think you put golf now is a spot. You want and cute they're gonna go. Yeah I don't I think golf thing I charted out. I'll watch it yeah why not let let's go to a lesser art and see what happened then. I think it's same thing happened again in that. He's now going to more places where he's won major yet beaches or sole effect that you can you bet. People look a lot shouldn't act and the united. It will be an incredible summer going forward when you look at where the PGA is next month at at Bethpage where he won the US open in 2002. Of course and the US open is at Pebble Beach in June where he's won multiple times including. Most dominating performance I've ever seen in a major championship again for people that don't remember in the 2000 US open Tiger Woods finished first at twelve under. Second place was three over par putt was just ridiculous and then royal port rush is of course no one's played before. And usually that tends to favor the best players when you're on track for the first time Michael we know you gotta catch flight. Coming up much more on the comeback and has Jason it's alluded to it almost everybody. Was rooting to see Tiger Woods to a one more time. But the question is why. I joined his goal doing no ESPN radio ESP and do we are presented by progress been jurors off longest join us on the show pencil performance line. My goal junior Jason pits tray we go we are with you obviously talking a lot about. Game improves no we're not because of what happened Sunday had a gust up we'll have a broad discussion but that's how much. What we saw Sunday morning size afternoon as sort of dominated everything. I aprons back. It was the perfect and his agenda because of the weather in Augusta they moved it up so. We had morning sports which is one of the greater treasures no demand a 9:30 AM tee time for the leading group. Was the perfect way to start or Sunday morning and then lead into the rest tool we had to offer right now which is. The masters. In this him MBA playoffs in the game of drones premiere of season it was a true masterpiece of a Sunday do we keep that permanently dearly dearly I -- I look for that limit let me let me Davis. I have a feeling the people that run the the network there was black rock. Gonna say thanks but note is we've probably get a much bigger rating in the afternoon that we did the board that being said that he can number is going to be in lose a sane through the roof could put up a press release on Saturday that Saturday's third round coverage was the largest golf network. Telecast. On any network over the last five years I think so expect more things like that. But it's time for straight talk now brought you by straight talk while a spouse phones does now works no contracts are I was on the morning show. Yesterday NE SPN radio. And they ask me why is it that we. What to see this from tiger watt what is it about him because before the scandal Arnold for all that kind of stuff. You know bush and a million times on the show he he doesn't move the needle he is and why is he that way. I sort of struggled to come up with a reason for it except you just say. He just is right there there are certain people and there are certain figures whether it's in entertainment or in sports as an athlete. They just have yet what ever it is and he just has that in buckets for a lot of different reasons on a lot of different levels. You know for for a few years. After Jordan sort of was at his peak and Kobe had not yet descended in the LeBron was not yet. In the NBA. They were looking for the next Jordan who's the next Jordan in the NBA. Turns up the next Jordan was a guy wearing a red shirt playing golf. Mean that's sort of the way it happens you can't create someone to be the next thing they're just going to be it. Sort of organically and the vote the best way I can describe are trying describe. Why yesterday resonated with so many people aren't so many levels is because we talked about a little bit before you saw him. As the brash young thing in 97 shatter records. And then you saw him take that's that win at the masters in 97 and just exponentially. Grow that legacy shattering the score at one point he had. The scoring record all four majors at one time all for a bomb the name was Tiger Woods at the at the tender age I think of 23. Or 24 he had all those scoring records. And then of course he went on to that prodigious run and then he has his downfall lot of self inflicted in the a lot of medically as well. And then he comes back in the way I can describe it is. My wife's first concert Jason you can appreciate this. The first concert was Billy jewel of Madison Square Garden the mayors and the way she talks about that concert news. My god he was a bundle of energy long here running all over the stage. Feeding off the crowd going back and forth in this. It was amazing. And we've been to many Billy jewel concerts since right of the song to the same and the music is the same. But Billy is different. Billy is now heavier. He is mostly bald very gray and just sort of sits at the piano and does a great job and plays the great songs and plays its. What it's not the same experience. 12 years. 22 years after seeing him dominate and do those swashbuckling things at Augusta in 1997. We saw begin. At his peak still on some level physically and giving us that again and I think that's why it resonates as so many people way. I mean I think dominance and accomplishment and things that are like drug stocks like those are what we crave. As sports fans as we wanna see someone do it better than everybody in tiger's case he did it differently because he was young he was brash. Because he was African American like that all played a huge role in the cultural phenomenon. That was Tiger Woods and shall we get some of that back because. You don't get tiger and this is why I think a lot of the young golfers doctor John as you meet a dominant stretch like tiger has the weight of all of his past accomplishment. Every time he steps on the course these guys are all still trying to build at that point and no one's been able to get over the Specter of tiger is a cop. Pushed to that level I think to trade is stick with you music analogy for second. I'll go back to when I was a kid and hell freezes over record came up for the Eagles and Eagles ran huge in the seventies. My mom and dad talked about Eagles then all of a sudden hell freezes over comes it comes out and because no one ever thought that was possible a whole new generation was introduced the Eagles it's it feels a little like that you can tell all these stories intrigue you mentioned your. Two year old son is on your lap you can tell those stories from when his kid. The opportunity to watch it again and see it with even even if it does look a little different at this point. See that seems swagger to see that same sort of tiger news threw it to see the tiger effect whatever it is. Happen again I think it's pizzas it's a rare opportunity especially in athletics to be able to go in and say okay. Ten years later fifteen years later twenty years later. We're gonna recapture that magic for one more Ronnie can't that can't happen in football that can't happen in basketball roundup it's able happening in in golf but that's not what made its host. Ash yeah I mean this was this was for a whole another generation. Nicklaus in 86 when he came back and the one that one last major his eighteenth at the age of 46 the parallels between these two will never go away. This was you know Jack is still the oldest guy to ever win the masters second now is Tiger Woods Jack has six green jackets tiger now has five I mean it just goes to continue to go back and forth and there will be a longer discussion. Going forward about whether or not tiger can eventually catch Jack now these finally got fifteen and three behind and we'll get there. But in our discussion to get there. Let's just not run past what we saw right I mean. What do you on the tour championship last year is like sabre viscous. Mean the guy's got a back that's put together with government chicken wire right let's we have never know this is going to happen. We're never going to know we might you might never win another major activists so yeah we can talk about the specials speculation and we will and there's reason to do it. But in doing so let's not just blow past by what we saw I'm just. Drink it in for all the we possibly can't absolutely straight talk price to restrict our wireless nationwide coverage in America's largest most dependable forgy LT networks are coming up next. We have something else we wanna talk about in golf which is also. Going to be fantastic. And why tigers win wasn't wins for everybody. We get to that next old do we go ESPN radio is into. We have they contests come up you wanna listen. I I get at the masters is a big deal. We have a big deal as well coming 710. You wanna stay tuned and listen we can tell you where you get a chance to come with us to a very special place yes there's going to be great so we've what we've done it began around here we we've done nothing I have great sales team Devin megabyte did at all I should -- -- I wanna say debtor in Magid who continued to go above and beyond the call of duty. To trying give you guys you're great experience. I think is going to be Incredibles and deathly white suited for that Jason I know you're gonna wanna tutor for your chance to win as well debt if this is what I think it is aid to reminds me louse something I didn't get invited to last year's Wimbledon this is a make good yeah exactly as it is your chance to do is a collaborative we believe we've been forgotten that students got. A towel news never it and are that's coming up at 710 trust me you wanna stay tuned for that but as Jason was alluding to earlier I mean part of the Laura what we saw Sunday was. Was the moment that fathers and sons and aunts and on some locals who mothers and daughters have in that bar on the golf creates right. And we saw that with tiger's first ever win. At the masters in 97 where he gave his dad that big bear hug after that and of course we had that recreated yesterday with his mom called feet and his two kids. And tiger talking about those moments specifically what that meant thinks it especially carding back. In 97 when his dad was there to congratulate him for his first major. Here. Here's me sorry. My dad should not common 97 and yet heart complications and what the Tulsa slide but he soon came in give me putting us on Wednesday night in you know rest is history and that's the longer here. Our problem mom's here twenty years later. Now how can determine and then have both Sam and Charlie here. They were there at the British Open like sheer when I had the lead in on my back nine lives amid a few mistakes and likes of a chance to win the open title doesn't let that happen to them twice and solve them to see what a slight. Have their dad when you win a major championship it. I hope to some people are forgotten. That was pretty cool I'll see them both there and to see is mom there as well I it was. Incredible the symmetry is one thing of those two moments certainly but that's Osama maladies that everyone can see themselves and the like tiger was a vessel for every parent and child ever wanted to savor an accomplishment together. And got to watch from a guy we've all been watching for over. Two decades I think that's the thing that keeps hitting me as that this experience was obviously tigers put America shared and it because whether you're the big everybody knows listens Michelle I'm not a big golf you know there's that tiger is bigger than that and you just you find yourself sucked into the drama of tiger you find yourself sucked into the sort of the redemption story of tiger and an. To have that moment with his kids I just think that everybody felt like they were passing the tiger moment from one generation. To the next and that in turn to trades a year. Point do we need to savor this and appreciated. That's that's a big part of it but when you've handed something this amazing off to the next generation needs that this is just the tip of the iceberg so it's also hard for everybody not to look at until we got to walk more of that right now because what we fell on Sunday was especially as he can possibly get a golf and yet one of the greatest moments. Of golf for multiple generations that leads them. Yeah and we talked about this. Last year after he won the tour championship and was like it was a because all last year it seemed like. Was this build up too can he win again right whether we started at at the Honda in the spring where he was close and then you know at the Valspar you actually went. Will lost by one it's a Paul Casey and that he took a little bit of a step back at the masters in the US open. Then he sort of playing well again if only all culminated last year with them winning the tour championship. And then going forward it was like well this year to make that feeling it's he's got to win a major and oh boy holding does a right out of the gate. Didn't you just say yesterday Tiger Woods is the 2019. Masters champion. Like that was an amazing thing alone. I should hear this morning and it still doesn't fully fueled reelected there's it's a very real light source surreal thing I should say work. It doesn't quite feel like something which should've been able happen at all I should be able to save. What trait I do like you sort of solace coming more than I mean I'm a one of the ones it was squarely out I just have it felt like there was a felt like there was a wall and that wall to your point he's getting closer and closer closer in my mind it was easy to look at it a night. Closest is the best he's gonna get now I'm due broken through that wall I think it is significant because even the people they didn't think it was possible not to step back and say. Anything is possible and you saw like up. Look they eat they asked me yesterday in the radio do you think he's gonna win today and I said honestly no I didn't think he was going two for two reasons number one. The guy who was had the lead Francesco Molinari. And to school. Really. Has been the best golfer in Brooks kept has wanted to major and that's wonderful but were you don't just results based on a longer. 0012 month stretch no one has played better than Morari he had bullied and then tiger had not taken. He had never done it is in it is incredible career he had never done. What he did on Sunday which was come from behind to win so. I really was like hey this could be grade all the stars up and I'm not really expecting it. And that's why one only can he took the lead on fifteen. By two doctors he would do to play it like. It's like that line from forgetting Sarah Marshall. When base with two couples decide to sit together Russell Brand goes so this is really happening we are actually don't let this happen. And it did it was incredible and that leads us to this discussion that we need to have next. Where does this rate in terms of the greatest comebacks in the history of not just golf. But in the history of sports. Right that's that's that's the context we have to have next will end its its complicated and different because. Part of this is tiger's personal life yes part of visit is a senior very real window into someone's students in their life like stuff you don't normally get. From the average first but because of who tiger was we all live with him and that fall to ya know your your exactly right and in this day and age. Where. Everyone has a cell phone and everyone has a camera basically everyone has a little broadcasting unit right there in the in the palm of their hand and things can be shared instantaneously. And very publicly. This is a different dynamic in terms of how that has played out. For this collective experience for us as fans would get into what that means. And won't get into your chance to do something really really cool plus where does this come back great. In the history of sports that's all that's endless.
